  1. Why paint the PA in Nickel Plate colors?
  2. I think that Warbonnet/Daylight/(insert favorite road name) would look better. Don't you?
  3. But the locomotive is originally from the Santa Fe. Wouldn't Warbonnet be more appropriate?
  4. I have some information/equipment/memorabilia to contribute. How can I do it?
  5. What is with all the bondo references?

  1. Why paint the PA in Nickel Plate colors?
Doyle says: "Because it's mine and I want it that way."
To elaborate, having grown up in Conneaut, OH, and having a father who worked for the Nickel Plate, Doyle has a special fondness for the road. Futhermore, NKP190 was the first locomotive in which Doyle got to ride. And besides, it's just a damn nice paint scheme—a statement with which few could argue.

  2. Don't you think that Warbonnet/Daylight/(insert favorite road name) would look better?
No. If that were the case, it wouldn't be NKP190, it would be ATSF62.

  3. But the locomotive is originally from the Santa Fe. Wouldn't that be more appropriate?
Yes, no—doesn't matter. See question #1.

  4. I have some information/equipment/memorabilia to contribute. How can I do it?
Please contact us through our contact page.

  5. What is with all the bondo references?
A perceptive man once noted that, given the bare-bones condition of the PAs, any restoration would consist entirely of Bondo body filler and plywood. If you don't believe it, take a look at the Brooklyn Gallery.
